Gregory Hofmann Transactions

Hofmann was placed on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating his contract Thursday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Hofmann (personal) agreed to terms on a one-year contract with Swiss club EV Zug on Tuesday.

Hofmann (personal) was suspended permanently by the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday.

The Hurricanes traded Hofmann to the Columbus Blue Jackets for a 2022 seventh-round pick Saturday, Michael Smith of the Carolina Hurricanes' official site reports.
