Stienburg (suspension) was reassigned to AHL Colorado on Thursday.
Stienburg received a two-game suspension for charging Tampa Bay's Erik Cernak during Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Stienburg will have a hearing Thursday with the Department of Player Safety for charging the LIghtning's Erik Cernak.
Stienburg was recalled by Colorado on Wednesday.
