Power said Saturday that he will need two months to recover from his lower-body injury, but he will not need surgery, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.

Power signed a seven-year, $58.45 million contract with the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday.

According to multiple sources, Power will sign a three-year, entry-level contract with the Buffalo Sabres on Friday, ESPN's Kevin Weeke's reports.
