The NHL announced Thursday that Pinto has been suspended 41 games for activities related to sports wagering.

Pinto (upper body) will be activated off injured reserve and return to the lineup for Saturday's game versus Pittsburgh.

Pinto (upper body) will be sidelined for at least a couple of weeks, per Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun. Additionally, the center has been designated for injured reserve, per the NHL media site.

Pinto signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Ottawa Senators on Thursday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
