What is the $70,000 performance bonus for Timashov? Is it a games played bonus? If so how many?

Yes, it would be a Games Played Bonus.  You can tell that it's Games Played bonus (vs a regular performance bonus) because the Signing Bonus can only be a maximum of 10% of the total Base + Signing Bonus + GP Bonus.  If you look at his contract (before it slid), the third year (this year) originally had a $650K base (it's now $700K because the minimum salary went up after it slid) and had $80K in Signing Bonuses.  In order to have $80K in Signing Bonuses, the base ($650K) + Signing Bonus ($80K) + GP Bonus needed to equal $800K, so there must be a GP bonus of $70K, which is the total Performance Bonus in the contract.

We don't know the exact breakdown of how it's earned.  However, in the CBA, GP bonuses can be for 5 games, 10 games, and more than 10 games. The limit on 5 games is $25K, and there is no limit on the 10 and 10+ games bonus.
