Hamilton has fully recovered from his pectoral injury, Amanda Stein of the New Jersey Devils' official site reports Wednesday.

Hamilton (pectoral) was moved from injured reserve to long-term injured reserve Thursday, James Nichols of New Jersey Hockey Now reports.

Hamilton (jaw) was activated from injured reserve Thursday, per the NHL's media site, and will play Thursday in Pittsburgh.

The Devils placed Hamilton (jaw) in COVID-19 protocols Friday, Amanda Stein of the New Jersey Devils' official site reports.

Hamilton will undergo surgery on his broken jaw Wednesday and has been placed on injured reserve retroactive to Jan. 2.

Hamilton signed a seven-year, $63 million contract with the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday, Darren Dreger of TSN reports.
