Evander Kane Updates
Kane (hip) was put on long-term injured reserve Tuesday.
Kane (hip) underwent surgery in New York City on Friday to address multiple injuries sustained from playing through a sports hernia last season and isn't expected to play in the 2024 calendar year, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Kane (hip), as expected, is set to have surgery as confirmed by general manager Stan Bowman, per Bob Stauffer of the Edmonton Oilers Radio Network on Wednesday.
