Owen Beck Updates
Beck was reassigned to AHL Laval on Saturday.
Beck will be reassigned to OHL Peterborough following Saturday's game versus the Ottawa Senators, Eric Engels of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Beck will make his first NHL appearance Saturday in Ottawa.
Beck was recalled from OHL Peterborough under emergency conditions Friday.
Beck was added to Canada's 2023 World Junior Championship roster Sunday.
Beck was named the OHL's Player of the Week on Monday after posting three goals and six assists over two games for Mississauga.
Beck agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract with Montreal on Tuesday. Despite his deal, Beck is expected to head back to his junior club OHL Mississauga for the upcoming season, per Marc Antoine Godin of The Athletic.
Beck had three shots on net, two hits and won 10 of 17 faceoffs in Monday's 2-1 preseason-opening loss to New Jersey.
