Thomas (ankle) will be activated from injured reserve ahead of his return to the lineup Tuesday against the Minnesota Wild, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.

Thomas will be out for at least six weeks after suffering a fractured ankle against the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday. As a result, the team designated him for injured reserve.
