Zherenko will be recalled from AHL Springfield to back up Jordan Binnington in Thursday's game versus the Dallas Stars, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Zherenko was promoted from AHL Springfield on Monday.

Zherenko signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday.
