What is the maximum salary average annual value for which a team can sign a player for?

The maximum Cap Hit that a player can sign for is 20% of the current cap. So with the current cap at $88M for 24-25, the maximum contract is $17.6M Cap Hit. That maximum also applies for deals that start in 25-26, since the official cap number has not yet been set for that season.
